IKEA Gift Card T&Cs

Terms and conditions for Gift Cards issued in the UK

Gift and Refund cards(s) can be used at any IKEA store in:

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain*, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

*With the exception of the stores in Lanzarote, Tenerife, Mallorca and Gran Canarias.

Some Gift Cards can only be redeemed in the same country of issue. For further details visit the IKEA Website of the issuing country for their Terms & Conditions

The minimum value needed to activate an IKEA Gift Card is £1 and the maximum value that can be stored on an IKEA Gift card is £250.

To check the balance of any Gift or Refund card(s), you can check online or visit any IKEA store.

No cash change will be given on purchases made using a Gift or Refund card(s).

Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights. The balance cannot be converted into cash.

The value on the card(s) cannot be used to pay credit card or IKEA Business account balances.

The balance on the card(s) can be controlled at any IKEA store, or by the phone via the Contact Centre.

The card(s) remain the property of IKEA UK and Ireland Ltd, and may not be tampered or interfered with, without our consent.

Gift card(s) can be used as a complete or partial payment in all the above IKEA stores including online.

There are no limitations on how many times a card(s) can be used (until the balance is £0.00).

The card(s) have no expiration date.

If card(s) are found, please return to the nearest IKEA store.

IKEA is unable to replace card(s) if lost, damaged or stolen.

Sales of IKEA Gift cards are made, managed and fulfilled by Voucher Express - a trading name of Hemingways Marketing Services Ltd, Metcalfe House, 23H Kirkgate, Ripon. HG4 1PB, established 1947 and registered in England 453174. VAT Reg No: 169725424. Voucher Express is the seller of the gift cards.
Gift cards ordered through this site will be sent by Voucher Express to the delivery address(es) stated on each individual order. Deliveries will be made using Royal Mail services. Orders with a combined value of £50 or less will be sent by 1st class post. All other orders will be sent by either Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery and will require a signature on arrival.
Gift cards will normally be dispatched by Voucher Express within two working days unless a specified later delivery date is requested. Where possible we will try to meet all delivery requirements but neither Voucher Express nor IKEA shall be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges or other expenses.
Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Neither Voucher Express nor IKEA can be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards following delivery to the recipient. Gift cards will NOT be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged. Neither Voucher Express nor IKEA is responsible for funds on the card used without your knowledge.
IKEA Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cash refunds will not be available for products purchased with this card. Voucher Express is not directly linked to IKEA and can take no responsibility for products and services offered by IKEA. For the same reason, IKEA shall not be responsible for services offered by Voucher Express and its associated companies, including without limitation the collection and management of your credit card data and personal information which is collected, processed and managed by Voucher Express.
Gift card quantities should be checked immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be notified immediately. Voucher Express cannot be held responsible for shortage or loss of any gift cards not notified to us within three days of delivery.
Cleared payment is required prior to the dispatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase by Voucher Express. Your credit/debit card statement will read 'Voucher Express'. We reserve the right to decline any order without providing explanation. IKEA will not be given access to your credit/debit card details.
IKEA gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift cards which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted in IKEA stores.
The re-sale of gift cards sold via this website is strictly prohibited.
Your use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions and construed and enforced in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Disputes arising from your use of this website and the services we provide are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Force Majeure: Voucher Express cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes; governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
Breach of these conditions will entitle Voucher Express to seek the appropriate legal remedy available for injunction, damages or otherwise.
